"Francolin was not fond of Lamb Chops that night (my choice) and so we remembered a trick (I think quite usual for South Africans , but not for us Europeans) we learned while watching Andries preparing dinner at Urikaruus.
We placed a pot on top of some coals on the ground and I stored the chops in there while Francolin prepared her steak."
